Lead the Future of Home Care

As part of the active Long Island Chapter, we serve Nassau and Suffolk with pride. Founded in 1974 as the roots of the state association, we continue to empower providers through advocacy and professional community.

Purpose and Vision

Our Mission

HCP Long Island is committed to representing the home care industry through monthly meetings and high-impact events like our September Legislative Breakfast. We strive to strengthen Nassau and Suffolk providers by blending local action with statewide advocacy to ensure high-quality care throughout the region.

Our Vision

We envision a connected network where providers thrive through shared leadership and innovation. By hosting annual Caregiver of the Year honors and participating in Albany Advocacy Days, we aim to build a future where every home care agency is supported, recognized, and policy-ready.

A Legacy Since 1974

1974

Established on Long Island, HCP was born as a State Association to provide a unified voice for home care providers, creating a foundation for local healthcare excellence.

Annual

Our calendar flourished with recurring events like the Caregiver of the Year celebration in November, fostering a culture of appreciation and professional recognition.

Continuing as a powerhouse chapter, we lead Legislative Breakfasts and annual Advocacy Days in Albany, ensuring Long Island's specific needs are heard by state lawmakers.

Leading the Way for New York Providers

“

“

Participating in the Legislative Breakfast and Advocacy Day has completely changed how we interact with policy. The Long Island Chapter provides the platform we need to ensure our caregivers' voices reach Albany.

Joining as a Provider member was the best decision for our agency. The monthly meetings in Nassau and Suffolk provide a supportive ecosystem and vital resources that help us maintain the highest care standards.
